The short version. We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the site. If you cannot use any part of beverlyhillsgrowth.com or our services because of an accessibility barrier, email audit@beverlyhillsgrowth.com with subject "Accessibility help" and we will respond within 2 business days and find an alternative way to deliver what you need.

1. Our commitment

We believe access to information and services should be available to everyone, regardless of ability. We design and develop our site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium. We also follow the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III and the California Unruh Civil Rights Act as they apply to commercial web services.

2. What we do

Color contrast: every text element meets WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) against the dark background.
Keyboard navigation: every form, button, and link is reachable and operable from the keyboard without a mouse.
Semantic HTML: we use proper landmarks (<header>, <main>, <footer>) and semantic form labels so screen readers can announce content correctly.
Focus indicators: visible focus rings on every interactive element.
Reduced motion: animations honor the prefers-reduced-motion media query. If you have it set in your OS, our particle effects and scroll animations are suppressed.
Alt text: every meaningful image carries descriptive alt text. Decorative images use empty alt attributes.
Form-error messaging: form errors are announced via aria-live="polite" regions so screen-reader users hear what went wrong.
No motion that triggers seizures: nothing on the site flashes more than 3 times per second.

3. Known limitations

We are a small team and the site is under active development. Known accessibility gaps that we are working on:

The hero "dotted surface" 3D animation is decorative; users on reduced-motion or screen-readers do not need it but it does load the three.js library (which is suppressed when prefers-reduced-motion is set).
Some legacy PDF audit reports may have imperfect tagging for screen readers. Newly-produced reports use tagged-PDF templates.
The chat widget is currently text-only; voice input is on our roadmap.
The Stripe checkout pages are hosted by Stripe and follow Stripe's own accessibility posture, not ours.

We commit to responding to accessibility requests within 2 business days and finding an alternative path to deliver whatever you need, including completing the audit form on your behalf if you tell us what to enter.

5. Testing and review

We review the site for accessibility on a quarterly cadence, using a combination of: automated checks (Lighthouse, axe-core), manual keyboard navigation, screen-reader testing (VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, NVDA on Windows), and visual contrast verification. We document gaps in docs/ and prioritize fixes alongside other site work.

6. Third-party content

Where we embed third-party services (Stripe checkout, Cloudflare Turnstile, Google Fonts) we rely on the provider's accessibility posture. If a third-party embed blocks you, please email us and we will arrange a non-embed alternative.

7. Formal complaints

If you want to escalate an accessibility complaint formally, you can: (a) email us with subject "Accessibility complaint", (b) contact the US Department of Justice ADA Information Line (1-800-514-0301 voice or 1-833-610-1264 TTY), or (c) file with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing if your concern relates to the Unruh Act. We would rather resolve any concern directly first.
